Jeremiah Emmanuel BEM

At the age of 19 Jeremiah Emmanuel BEM has the experience and accolades of those who may be considerably older. He is the entrepreneur, activist, and all round hard worker from Brixton, who already has 10+ years of volunteering experience underneath his belt. Having received cosigns from the likes of Sir Richard Brandon, Tinie Tempah, and former Prime Minister David Cameron he is definitely one to watch.

Tinie speaks about him in his latest interview with ‘Not For The Radio’.

On a day to day basis whilst not studying for his A-Levels at college, you can find Emmanuel working closely with Tinie Tempah at his newly launched publishing company Imhotep and record label Disturbing London. He also runs his own consultancy enterprise EMNL and after founding the BBC Radio 1 & 1Xtra youth council he had gone on to work with the likes of Rolls-Royce and digital marketing agency AKQA. And he is an ambassador at the Big Change Charitable Trust, a charity founded by Holly & Sam Branson, HRH Princess Beatris, and friends.

This year Jeremiah became one of the youngest people to receive an honour from the Queen, a British Empire Medal. And there is a high possibility he could be the youngest black person to ever receive such an honour. He was listed on the Voice News ones to watch 2017 list, alongside Stormzy, Maya Jama, Anthony Joshua, Julie Adenuga and more.
